Whole30 Day 17: What about fruit?

Whole30 Meal Plan: Day 17

Whole30 Meal Plan Day 17: breakfast
When I tell people that part of Whole30 is cutting out all sugars, the most common question I get is whether this includes fruit. And the answer is: you can eat fruit! Whole30 Meal Plan: Day 16

Whole30 Meal Plan Day 16: lunch ginger meatball soup

SWYPO means ‘sex with your pants on.’ It’s one of those Whole30 sayings like sugar dragon and tiger blood. SWYPO is when you try to recreate food that is unhealthy or decadent or something you are jonesing for with Whole30 ingredients. The main examples they give are pancakes or pizza. In a nutshell, foods you love that come with an emotional or addictive side. Continue reading

Whole30 Meal Plan: Day 14 – cleaning out the fridge

Whole30 Meal Plan Day 14

Two weeks down! And guess what I learned… no surprise but I am an emotional eater. Last night I knocked over a bunch of bottles that sit above our stove. One came crashing down onto the stove top and cracked the glass. OMG! 😱😭 After cleaning up all the tiny glass shards (why wasn’t this glass tempered?) I went to grab a handful of coconut flakes… wait, wait, wait! You’re not hungry! Guys, I was drowning my sorrow in food.  Continue reading

A lot of people get nervous about starting Whole30 because they’ve never had to be careful with what they eat and know exactly what’s in their food.
