Whole30 Meal Plan Day 20
I almost caved today.
First off, my bowels have apparently gone on strike. I can’t deal! 😩
Second, this is emotional, and my hormones are out of whack. I tried to clear my mind by going for a run. I got 800m away from my house and was finished. I walked home trying not to cry, and when I stepped through the door, I just started to sob. WTF is going on!
Third, I may be a little hungry all the time. Since my stomach is not letting go of anything, I get full faster. But I also feel like I am not absorbing all the nutrients I need. Talk about hanger.
And fourth, I am dreaming about food all the time! I dream about that tiny part of crunchy cheese on pizza, you know when there is some cheese that drips over the crust and becomes spectacularly crispy? I’m dreaming about sandwiches, and I don’t even eat sandwiches! And I’m dreaming about relaxing in a jacuzzi filled with hot chocolate!
But I didn’t cave. I was strong; opened up some cookbooks, meal planned, put my head back on my shoulders, dried my tears, ate some prunes, and went grocery shopping. Two-thirds down. I’ve got this!
Thank you, guys! You have kept me on the straight and narrow, without you I would probably stuffing my face with a white chocolate Magnum Bar right about now.
WHOLE30 MEAL PLAN: DAY 20
Breakfast: Sweet potato, poached eggs, grapefruit, green smoothie with a powder called ‘Sauberman‘ – meant for digestion, and a black coffee
Dinner: Shepherd’s pie with minced beef and cauliflower mash, and a side salad
